Bet Sworowski secures YVLGA title!

YVLGA 2021 Championship - Oakdale Golf Club

The above event was held between 27th - 29th April .

Wakefield members Julie Wheeldon, Bet Sworowski and Heather Butcher all made it through to the semi finals of the Championship ensuring that we had at least one Wakefield member represented in the final.

A closely fought battle saw Bet defeat Julie in the first semi final and Heather (competing in her first ever YVLGA Championship) triumphant in the other ensuring we had an all Wakefield Golf Club final .

In a closely fought final Bet secured the win on the 17th hole to record a 3&1 victory. Congratulations to all three Wakefield Ladies for putting on such an amazing performance but particular congratulations to Bet for her first ever title.
